Gospel singer Bahati has hit headlines once again after a poster doing rounds in social media that Bahati will seek MCA seat in Makueni in 2017 polls.
Bahati who during the launch of Jubilee party at Kasarani stadium unseated president Kenyatta and seat on his seat has denied the poster depicting him begging people to vote him for MCA seat in 2017 elections on a Jubilee ticket.
However, Bahati took to his Instagram to clarify the post doing rounds in social media that he is eyeing MCA seat in Makueni under Jubilee party ticket.
“PLEASE STOP THIS???????????? Can Never be a Politician- Am Called to be VOICE OF THE AFRICAN CHILD.Na mwenye Amejenga hii Uongo Please Mwambieni BAHATI HAPENDAGI UJINGA!!!????????????”, read Bahati’s Instagram post.
Bahati also denied to vie for a political seat in 2017 appearing in an interview at Kiss FM.
“If I will vie for a political seat not a small seat like MCA. The seat I will vie for should be a government one. For now I remain to be the voice of the African Child through songs”, stated Bahati during the interview.
